The new year is a springboard of possibilities. As the coming year approaches we often take stock of ourselves, our goals and accomplishments, and where we might have fallen short.
The freshness of a coming year encourages us to step forward with renewed energy and focus. I don’t mean diet and exercise, although I strongly suggest to myself that sugar must be a thing of the past. Freshness in itself speaks of the new.
Perhaps a new shift in attitude, a gentling of our inside critical voice, would free us to try new things, bring about a lightness of spirit.
The doubtful inner voice hinders when encouragement is what we need. So yes, have a very happy new year, and let’s free our creative spirit from the harness to run free.
