The Dragon Dance is one of a series of acrylic paintings. Dragonflies are zipping about their business among the reeds and grasses. The wings are collaged.
Pudge is a bear who enjoys raiding the garden of my daughter and son-in-law. The apples, high up in the tree, are his favorite. He can be found day or night comfortably munching, paying little or no attention to the resident humans.
The turtles of McGuire Lake claim their spots on a few logs floating among the lilies. I’ve seen as many as twenty-five on one log, all facing the same direction. When a large turtle climbs aboard, the log shifts and all the turtles compensate in unison to balance their perch. This painting is acrylic.

I’ve been doing a bit of pottery lately. This is a new design featuring oaks.
This Cheeky Raven hitched a ride on the Arrow Lakes Ferry. Appearing quite at ease, the raven patrolled the boat deck like a feathered captain.
Acrylic: It seems like the Raven is part of the surroundings. The observer and the observed are the same.
